WELCOME TO THE SHANGHAI HOCKEY CLUB

Originally established in the 1920's, the Shanghai Hockey Club was started in the first half of 2003 and now has become one of the key social clubs in Shanghai. Next to our weekly matches we also attend the regional tournaments in Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Football Club and the Kowloon Cricket Club.

Matches: We meet every Saturday afternoon at the National Field Hockey Stadium in the Minhang District (South West Shanghai) for training and a friendly match. The game is mixed and players of all levels are welcome. A limited number of hockey sticks is available on site.

Membership costs: Current membership fees are RMB 300 per quarter, due at the start of each quarter. For new members the first two trials are free. Current students and interns pay half membership dues.

Social: The Shanghai Hockey Club is proud to be sponsored by O'Malleys Irish Pub, Shanghai's premier sports bar. After each game we tend to gather at O'Malleys to cool down over some refreshments. We encourage non playing family members to join us there.
